Job summary

Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation in Paducah, KY is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered OT services. You will screen, evaluate, and develop treatment plans, supervise assistants, and ensure compliance with regulations and organizational guidelines.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance resident independence, safety, and quality of life while maintaining professional licensure and pursuing ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Valid state OT license, where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and/or overseeing OT services.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines related to documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective, patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Refer patients for treatment to OT assistants and provide supervision.
• Directly supervise OT assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, case management, and interdisciplinary activities.
• Develop and enhance OT programs, techniques, and services to support quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and patient rights policies.
• Maintain licensure and stay current with continuing education.
