Job summary

Freeman Springdale Hospital invites applications for an Occupational Therapist on a PRN basis. The role involves evaluating patients, designing and documenting individualized treatment plans, and coordinating discharge planning for physician-referred cases.

You will supervise support staff and ensure care aligns with professional standards and hospital policies. Arkansas licensure is required, and new grads may apply with preferred 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy License.
• New grads accepted; preferred 2 years experience.

About Us - Rehab - Freeman Springdale Hospital

• Occupational therapists work with patients to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments
• Occupational therapists use their expertise and knowledge to help with both recovery and adaptation
• Patients receive occupational therapy in a number of settings including acute care, home healthcare, pediatrics and work performance rehabilitation

What You'll Do

Independently evaluates patients, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers / documents care, and provided D/C planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state / national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies /procedures.

Requirements

Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy License.

Preferred Requirements

New grads accepted, Preferred 2 years experience
