Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. This PRN role supports scheduled shifts at our Benton, AR facility, with opportunities to impact patient recovery and functional independence.

You will evaluate daily living skills, deliver hands-on therapy, document outcomes and contribute to discharge planning while collaborating with a dedicated rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• State Licensure for Occupational Therapy is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must have critical thinking and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to safely perform daily tasks and craft personalized care plans.
• Deliver hands-on treatment with therapeutic techniques and adaptive modalities.
• Track and document patient progress with measurable outcomes.
• Reassess and adjust treatment plans, consulting with colleagues as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional deficits and home strategies.
• Support discharge planning with adaptive equipment recommendations and resources.
• Provide supervision and delegation to OT assistants and techs.

How You'll Contribute

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy; Required
• State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
