Job summary

Freeman Siloam Springs Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for PRN coverage. The role involves independently evaluating patients, planning and delivering therapy, documenting care, and coordinating discharge planning for physician-referred patients within a hospital setting.

Supervision of support staff and adherence to professional and hospital standards are required. Current Arkansas OT license is mandatory; new grads are welcome with preferred 2 years of experience.

• Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy License.

• Evaluates patients independently, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers and documents care, and provides discharge planning for all physician referred patients.
• Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff.
• Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state and national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures.

• Patients receive occupational therapy in a number of settings including acute care, home healthcare, pediatrics and work performance rehabilitation

What You’ll Do

Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state / national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies /procedures.

Requirements

Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy License.
