Job summary

Plumas District Hospital seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings. You will assess functional abilities, develop personalized plans, and help patients gain independence.

Requirements include a valid OT degree, California license, BLS, and flexibility to travel between Quincy and Greenville. A sign-on bonus and housing support are offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Active California OT License in good standing
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Compliance with California OT regulatory requirements
• 2–3 years of experience in acute care, rehab or outpatient settings

• Proficiency with EMR documentation
• Ability to independently manage diverse caseloads
• Commitment to continuous professional learning

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and SNF settings
• Assess functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
• Travel between Quincy and Greenville offices as needed
• Provide assessment and evidence-based treatments; supervise COTA/aid as needed
• Participate in PI/QA programs and departmental meetings

Plumas District Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will apply professional judgement and clincal expertise to evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings. You will assess functional abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and help patients improve their independence and quality of life.

• You may be requested to travel between the two offices situated in Quincy, CA, and Greenville, CA.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Active California Occupational Therapist License (in good standing)
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Compliance with California OT regulatory requirements

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computers and EMR documentation

Compensation For Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale

• Base Rate $69.94-$99.74 per hour (or $145,475.20-$207,412.85 annually)
• Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay
• Sign on Bonus $10,000.00
• Housing Stipend $1,500 / month relocation assistance for 3 months, if you do not currently have housing available within 35 miles of PDH and need to relocate to accept the offered position.

Compensation For Non-Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale

• Base Rate $70.11-$99.96 per hour (or $145,822.56-$207,908.10 annually)
• Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay
