Nature and Scope

The Occupational Therapist will have a great deal of flexibility in applying individual professional judgment, discretion, and skill in patient management and program development. The Occupational Therapist will review physician’s referrals for Occupational Therapy services and utilize information obtained from patient's records relative to their medical history, social emotional disorders, and prognosis in order to select appropriate evaluation procedures for identifying patient's functional abilities/disabilities.

Location
  • You may be requested to travel between the two offices situated in Quincy, CA, and Greenville, CA.
Compensation

Compensation Philosophy:

  • We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience.

Compensation Range:

  • $66.61 - $94.97 / hour
Job Status/Shift Information
  • Per Diem, non-benefited
  • You will be employed in our inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility departments. You may be requested to provide assistance across any of these departments as needed.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited education institution.
  • Current California Occupational Therapist License.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA.

Experience:

  • Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation center and outpatient setting.

Child Care:

  • PDH is thrilled to provide our Child Care Center services to all families in our area. Our program is operational from 7:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday, and is approved for children aged 0 to 5 years. After submitting your application, our Child Care Director will get in touch with you about your acceptance into the program. Once approved, we will start the enrollment process.
