Job summary

Trinity Health in Muskegon, MI is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to autonomously evaluate patients, determine functional baselines, and develop individualized plans of care. You will collaborate with occupational therapy assistants to deliver treatment and ensure progress toward goals.

You will re-evaluate patient status, adjust plans as needed, and train patients and families in the safe use of medical equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a Master's or equivalent program accredited by AOTA.
• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Occupational Therapy required.
• State of Michigan OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure before hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate the functional abilities/disabilities of the client and establish a baseline and plan of care.
• Apply a written treatment plan and administer therapy per goals.
• Re-evaluate patient status and progress of treatment with the team and family as appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to train patients and families in equipment use.
