Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent OT education from an AOTA-accredited program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Michigan OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to hire.
• American Heart Association BLS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate functional abilities and establish a baseline to guide therapy.
• Apply and adjust a written treatment plan to meet goals.
• Re-evaluate progress and discuss goals with patient and family.
• Train patients and families in the use of medical equipment and recommend equipment as needed.
