Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Grand Haven, MI is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and develop care plans for patients in an outpatient clinic. You will work independently with supervising therapists and collaborate with assistants to deliver quality therapy.

The role requires a Master’s or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, MI licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification. Day shift, full-time schedule, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy as required by AOTA.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Occupational Therapy is required.
• State of Michigan Occupational Therapist License or licensure eligibility before hire.
• American Heart Association BLS or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate a patient’s functional abilities and limitations to establish a baseline and plan of care.
• Apply and monitor a written treatment plan and administer therapy per goals.
• Re-evaluate patient progress and adjust goals with patient and family during the plan of care.
• Train patients and families in use of medical equipment and recommend equipment as necessary.
