People Well Staffing in Manteca, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, aiming to improve ADLs, functional independence, safety, strength, coordination, and overall quality of life.

You will develop individualized plans of care within licensure scope, monitor progress, educate patients and families on strategies, and collaborate with the care team. CA license required; competitive hourly compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active CA OT or COTA license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and/or treat patients to improve ADLs, functional independence, safety, strength, coordination, and quality of life.
• Develop or carry out individualized occupational therapy plans of care within licensure scope.
• Recommend or implement adaptive strategies and therapeutic activities as appropriate.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety.
• Complete timely documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
