Job summary

Riverbank, CA-based People Well Staffing seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a permanent position. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve ADLs, functional mobility, safety, upper-extremity function, and overall quality of life while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

You will develop or carry out individualized plans of care within licensure scope, educate patients and families, monitor progress, and document thoroughly to support quality care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active CA OT or COTA license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and/or treat patients to improve ADLs, functional independence, safety, strength, coordination, and quality of life.
• Develop or carry out individualized occupational therapy plans of care within licensure scope.
• Recommend or implement adaptive strategies and therapeutic activities as appropriate.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety.
• Complete timely documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
