Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist II for inpatient care at Highland Park Hospital. The role is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and limited weekend rotation. Compensation is hourly based on expertise and experience.

You will conduct advanced evaluations, provide treatment, and maintain comprehensive patient records while supervising OT students. Eligible for IL licensure and BLS/CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Educational degree in Occupational Therapy (BS/ MS).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an OT in IL.
• BLS/CPR certification required; NBCOT preferred.
• Inpatient OT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students

Hourly Pay Range:

$39.44 - $61.13 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Occupational Therapist II, Inpatient
• Location: Highland Park Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p
• Rotation into 2 weekend days/month
• Holidays: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• Required Travel: no

What you will do:

• Provide advanced evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students

What you will need:

• Education: Bachelor of Science from a school of Occupational Therapy or a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university approved by the AOTA and the Council on Medical Education of the AMA.
• License: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of IL
• Certification: BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association required, OTR certified (NBCOT preferred)
• Experience: Inpatient Occupational Therapy required
