Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an Occupational Therapist I to assess and support patients on their journey to optimal function. Under supervision, you will conduct evaluations, create personalized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will mentor peers and contribute to service improvements while upholding organizational values. The role requires an OT degree, Maryland licensure, CPR certification, and at least 18 months of licensed experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of social, behavioral, biological, and physical sciences foundational to Occupational Therapy.
• Skills: Advanced communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Experience: Licensed OT with a minimum of 18 months of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using objective assessment techniques focusing on occupational limitations and medical conditions.
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs to help patients reach their maximum functional potential.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient and team outcomes are maximized.
