Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to deliver therapy to patients based on need and medical direction, educate patients and caregivers, and coordinate for adaptive equipment. The role supports the Rehab Resource Pool and delivers care in a day-time shift.

The position requires a Bachelor's in OT, Michigan licensure upon hire, NB-COT, and BLS certification with CHt preferred. Flexible, on-site schedule in a hospital-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited OT program.
• Preferred Master's degree in OT or related field.
• MI Occupational Therapist license upon hire.
• NB-COT certification upon hire.
• Driver's license for MI Home Care operations.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC) upon hire.
• CHT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
• Collaborates with the Rehab Resource Pool to coordinate care.
