JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with a focus on hand therapy. The role requires outpatient experience, weekend/evening availability preferred, and strong patient communication skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred but not required
• 1+ years outpatient hand therapy experience preferred
• Completed CEU requirement in NY/NJ
• Valid CPR license
• Experience with EMR software preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Works well in a team and independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and interventions for upper extremity conditions.
• Fabricate custom orthoses.
• Document patient care data per department policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain daily notes, progress reports, and discharge plans; support billing processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and patient support system; adjust plan of care as needed.
• Provide patient education and training; oversee OT aides and COTA staff.
• Promote the clinic in the community through lectures and presentations.
