Qualifikationen

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.

• 1+ years of outpatient hand therapy experience.
• NY/NJ CEU requirements completed.
• Experience with EMR software is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong clinical decision making and teamwork.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Doctorate preferred.

Aufgaben

• Evaluations, assessments, and interventions for upper extremity cases.
• Fabricate custom orthoses for patients.
• Record patient care data per guidelines and billing needs.
• Prepare evaluations with history and diagnoses.
• Establish treatment plans and collaborate with team.
• Educate patients and support system on care.
• Functional training for ADLs/IADLs and equipment.
• Musculoskeletal interventions with exercises and modalities.
• Document care using Prompt EMR; assist with billing.
• Promote JAG PT in the community via lectures.
