Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking an Occupational Therapist specialized in hand therapy/upper extremity for outpatient clinics in the San Diego and Coachella Valley areas. Local travel and new graduates welcome, with a collaborative team and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments including exercises, manual therapy, ADL training, and adaptive equipment as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises to maximize independence.
• Regularly reassess progress and modify plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and progress per standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
