Job summary

Bay Rehabilitation in Burbank seeks an Occupational Therapy Supervisor specializing in hand therapy to lead the hand therapy team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care, mentoring staff, and managing clinical operations and finances at the Burbank clinic.

You will treat a diverse hand/upper-extremity caseload, collaborate with physicians, and participate in ongoing education to advance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California.
• Certified Hand Therapist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities.
• Fabricating thermoplastic splints.
