Job summary

Dignity Health in Henderson, NV is seeking an Occupational Therapist specialized in Hand Therapy for our outpatient division. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 40 hours per week and uses evidence-based approaches to restore hand function and independence.

Responsibilities include evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and collaboration with physicians and staff to maximize patient outcomes. A state license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
• Level II clinical rotation or hand therapy fieldwork with splinting experience within the last two years.
• National registration and state licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and communications of high-quality hand therapy services.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain positive interaction with facilities and clients; expand client relations with staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum of level II clinical rotation or fieldwork in hand therapy specific to the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic is REQUIRED within the last two years.
• National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
