You will educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and functional goals. The role emphasizes collaboration with the rehab team, hands-on therapy, and adapting plans to each patient’s journey, ensuring safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Initial certification by NBCOT (NBOT) is required.
• Valid and unrestricted OT license as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop recovery plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy services in facility settings.
• Collaborate with care teams to promote independence and safety.
• Be a teacher to patients and caregivers to promote skills for daily living.

Education
