The role includes supervising assistants and ensuring safe, efficient care in a full-time day-shift setting.

Responsibilities also include discharge planning, adherence to payer guidelines, and contributing to community education and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• OT license or temporary OT license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Florida Level 2 background screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with goals and frequency.
• Document accurately using measurable and objective terminology.
• Discharge patients when maximum benefit is achieved or per guidelines.
• Oversee care by OT assistants and rehabilitation aides.
• Maintain safety and productivity while delivering care.
• Support marketing and community education efforts.
