Job summary

OKLAHOMA CITY REHABILITATION HOSPITAL is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist in Oklahoma City, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The OT will independently evaluate, plan treatment strategies, and administer or delegate services to maximize function in ADLs, IADLs, education, work, and social participation.

Requirements include an OT license in the state and BLS certification. Inpatient rehab experience is preferred. Benefits and total rewards are offered.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and determine treatment strategies to maximize function in ADL, IADL, education, work, leisure and social participation.
• Deliver and/or delegate therapy services to address psychosocial, cognition, sensorimotor needs and safety in daily activities.
• Provide interventions to promote safety and performance in daily living activities.

Position Summary

Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged, skill or ability that has not yet is impaired in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
