Job summary

Oklahoma City Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a highly capable Occupational Therapist for a full-time position. You will independently evaluate, determine treatment strategies, and deliver or delegate services to maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, education, work, and social participation.

A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered. The successful candidate will hold state licensure as an OT, BLS certification, and preferably inpatient rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and determine treatment strategies for OT.
• Deliver and/or delegate therapy services to maximize ADLs, IADLs, education, work, play, and social participation.
• Address psychosocial, cognitive, and sensorimotor components in treatment planning.

Position Summary:
Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged, skill or ability that has not yet is impaired in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work,play, leisure, and social participation.
Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
