Job summary

Preferred Care Home Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Therapy team and provide quality, patient-centered care in the home setting in Sarasota, FL.

The OT will evaluate patients’ functional abilities, develop individualized plans, and deliver therapy services per physician orders. You’ll work to improve strength, range of motion, and independence while educating patients and families. Collaboration with physicians and supervision of OTAs may be involved.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Minimum of 1 year OT experience.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a community-based caseload.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities
