Job summary

Canarsie Childhood Center is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for two to three days per week. You will guide students toward reaching their full potential in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding our children towards achieving their full potential. Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students' physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
• Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to improve fine motor, gross motor, and sensory integration skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to promote functional skills and independence
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and staff development workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices

Requirements:
