Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility located in Grand Island, NE. Flexible hours with salaried options, plus Part Time or PRN arrangements are available.

You will plan, organize, and direct OT services in keeping with standards and regulations, directing care for residents with evidence-based interventions and documentation.

Formación

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and licensure maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Screen residents to determine best OT interventions.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with goals.
• Communicate results to residents, families, and team.
• Coordinate therapy schedules with team members.
• Document therapy and ensure proper billing.
• Supervise COTA and ensure compliant, high-quality care.

Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time (Flexible Hours + Salaried!), Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
