Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in North Platte, NE. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and flexible scheduling for PRN as needed.

You will plan, organize, and direct OT services, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility.
• Screen residents and develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules in cooperation with team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services according to plan.
• Oversee COTA and ensure documentation and treatments meet reimbursement requirements.

Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time (10K Sign-On Bonus!) or PRN Flexible Scheduling!

Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
