Job summary

Life Care Centers of America’s Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan, CO seeks an OT to provide direct rehabilitation services to patients referred by physicians in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

Requires NBCOT on hire, BSOT/MSOT from an accredited program, active state license, CPR certification, and 1 year of experience preferred (new grads welcome). This PRN role offers a supportive, networked environment with growth within a large organization.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification on hire, renewal optional later.
• Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT/MSOT).
• Active state license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (ADLs).
• Establish, assess, and modify measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs and Rehab Aides.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent patient service with a positive attitude.
• Participate in safety and compliance training.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships.
