Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality OT services in our clinical partners in Virginia. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning while supervising assistants and rehab technicians.

You will uphold professional conduct, stay compliant with state/federal regulations, and contribute to a robust OT program across diverse care communities.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Holds a current and valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enhance patients' functional abilities through direct OT services and supervision of the care plan.
• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Supervise COTAs and Rehab Technicians during individual and group therapy sessions.
• Contribute to the growth and sustainability of a strong occupational therapy program.
• Advance clinical competencies through collaboration, self-directed learning, and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in OT and healthcare.
• Apply knowledge of billing models and treatment guidelines to deliver compliant care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols within facilities.
• Demonstrate proficient communication in English for documentation and care coordination.
