Job summary

Live at Laural Parke currently seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house team serving Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care residents in the Phoenix area.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, treatment planning, and collaboration with families and staff. A Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy, state licensure, and CPR certification are required. This is a PRN opportunity with flexible scheduling and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed by the state and CPR certified.
• Experience in senior care settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of patient care records for your caseload.
• Report billing information for Occupational Therapy for your patients.
• Provide direct patient care including evaluation and treatment planning.
• Report and interpret treatment results and progress.
• Participate in in-services and staff trainings.
• Supervise support personnel in the work area as appropriate.
• Conduct screens, evaluations, and develop treatment plans.
• Deliver treatments in line with facility policies and payer rules.
• Attend meetings regarding patient care as appropriate.
• Assist with community education and public relations activities.
• Maintain high standards of resident care and safety.
• Respond promptly to crises and calls for assistance.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Educate patients’ families and staff on treatment plans and goals.
• Coordinate with other staff to implement therapy plans.
• Keep environments clean and safe for residents and visitors.
