Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role at Lidgerwood Clinic, Lidgerwood, ND. The position offers a 8-hour day shift, a 32-hour weekly schedule, and a sign-on bonus with a commitment.

You will assess residents and patients, develop therapy plans, and collaborate with primary care providers to coordinate care in a modern, community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
• NBCOT certification (preferred for Sanford Health facility) and active state license.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• New graduates may be considered with temporary license in ND/SD/IA/MN.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents/patients and use treatments to help them develop, maintain and recover daily living skills.
• Evaluate abilities and develop realistic therapy goals for residents/patients.
• Document information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans.
• Provide education to enhance understanding and functional outcomes and stay current with research.
• Supervise assistants/aides/students as needed and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
