Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring seeks an Occupational Therapist for a part-time, per diem day shift role. The OT will assess and treat patients, collaborate with physicians and families, and provide care across the lifespan. Requires MS/BS in OT, Maryland licensure, CPR within 6 months, and weekend/holiday availability. Per diem pay is competitive.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program (MS/BS)
• Maryland state licensure required
• AHA CPR certification within 6 months of start
• Minimum six months supervised fieldwork completed
• Reads, writes, speaks English
• Weekend/holiday availability required
• Proficient with documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients referred for occupational therapy adhering to Maryland law and AOTA Code of Ethics
• Collaborate with physicians, staff and families to ensure quality of care
• Provide assessment and care for patients from neonates to geriatric
• Participate in training for special programs or patient groups as directed
• Support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital
