Job summary

Sunview Respiratory & Rehabilitation in Youngstown, AZ, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program. This role offers a stable team and a supportive environment in a post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities include patient screening, developing plan of care, achieving outcomes, and discharge summaries, with a competitive pay ranging from $40 to $48 per hour and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist required.
• Open to applicants of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL impairments and develop a care plan.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment per regulatory requirements.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments in the medical record.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify care based on referrals and results.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers.
• Communicate progress and plans with supervisor and health team members.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per clinical requirements.
