Nyman Associates is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support children ages 3–5 in early intervention settings. The role offers mentorship, a supportive environment, and meaningful impact on student development.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Graduate degree (Master’s or higher) in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assess fine motor, sensory processing and functional skills in preschool children (ages 3–5).
• Develop individualized intervention plans to promote independence and address delays.
• Implement therapy activities to reduce participation barriers in daily routines and play.
• Modify environments to support child success in natural settings (home, daycare, preschool, EI).
• Educate parents/caregivers to empower families with strategies for progress.
• Document sessions and monitor progress to ensure goals are met.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including parents, teachers, and related service providers.

Responsibilities include:
