Job summary

Nyman Associates is actively seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence within a school setting. The role focuses on assessment, evidence-based intervention, and collaboration with families and educators to ensure academic success and daily participation.

Qualifications

  • Valid state license to practice occupational therapy.
  • Graduate degree (MSOT/OTD) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Active PT/OT license as applicable in state.

Responsibilities

  • Assess children's functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Implement therapy sessions.
  • Modify environments to support learning.
  • Document sessions and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers and other professionals.
