The Village at Marymount in Garfield Heights, Ohio is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for the day shift to join our multidisciplinary team and provide resident-centered care.

You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, promote independence, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to remove barriers to care. This on-site role offers a stable, fully in‑house therapy department with opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• OTR/L certification and Ohio licensure required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsabilités

The Village at Marymount is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our multidisciplinary team in Garfield Heights, Ohio. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our day shift team. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with our residents to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being. You will also collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to identify and address any potential barriers to care.

In‑House Therapy — Managed On‑Site

Our therapy department is fully in‑house and managed by our own leadership team, giving you a stable, collaborative environment without the turnover, shifting priorities, or productivity pressure common in contract therapy companies. You’ll work directly with our nursing and therapy teams to deliver consistent, resident‑centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify residents' strengths, weaknesses, and goals

• Provide occupational therapy interventions, including training, education, and coaching to residents and caregivers

Requirements:

• OTR/L certification and licensure in the state of Ohio

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and ability to learn agency-specific software
