Job summary

Nightingale's The Village at Marymount in Garfield Heights, OH is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our therapy team. This full-time day position focuses on helping residents regain independence, improve function, and enhance quality of life through individualized evaluations and care plans.

You will collaborate with Physical, Speech, Nursing, and Social Services, educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, and deliver interventions in line with state

Qualifications

• Current Ohio OT license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage caseload and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and care plans that promote resident recovery and independence.
• Develop individualized therapy goals focused on restoring function, mobility, and independence.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
• Document progress, outcomes, and care plans accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing, and Social Services to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on adaptive equipment, safety, and restorative techniques.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, resident-centered therapy environment.
