Woodstock Center for Nursing and Healing is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients regain independence through targeted therapy. You will work in a warm, caring environment that treats everyone like family.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in elderly care or inpatient settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Address clients’ aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations.
• Select and adapt the OT treatment model per case.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in ADLs/IADLs.
• Teach clients new approaches and break tasks into achievable components.
• Assess home and environments and advise on alterations.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers.
• Observe, note, and report progress toward treatment goals.
• Collect data and document processes followed.
• Regularly follow-up with clients.
