Job summary

Woodstock Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to support patients' daily living and quality of life. You will assess, plan, and implement OT interventions in a warm, family-like environment.

Responsibilities include ADL/IADL interventions, home safety assessments, adaptive equipment training, client and caregiver education, and thorough documentation to track progress.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with ADL/IADL assessments is preferred.
• Ability to educate clients and caregivers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Address client performance to support engagement in occupations.
• Select and adapt OT treatment models as appropriate.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in ADL/IADL.
• Teach clients new approaches to tasks and break down activities.
• Assess home and other environments and recommend alterations.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Educate family members and caregivers.
• Observe, report on progress of goals.
• Collect data and document processes followed.
• Regularly follow up with clients.
