Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, seeks an Occupational Therapist/CHT to join our team in West Chester and Kennett Square. This on-site role focuses on delivering comprehensive OT services and supervising therapy staff in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will hold PA/NJ OT licensure, BLS, and a CHT credential, with outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy License in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
• BLS Certification Required
• Certified Hand Therapy License
• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive occupational therapy services following established protocols and guidelines.
• Completes timely, compliant clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Ensures patients receive prompt treatments and adheres to plans of care; promotes home exercise programs and attendance.
• Delegates and supervises assistants and aides per state practice act.
• Coordinates with physicians and rehabilitation team to optimize patient care.
• Develops individualized therapeutic activity programs to restore function and independence.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
