Overview

Concentra, one of the largest Physical Therapy providers in the nation, is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This position involves performing functional assessments for individuals requesting accommodations for public transportation at an onsite location. The COTA will assess mobility skills and limitations of applicants, conducting up to 6 assessments per day. The position is scheduled for 3 days per week from 9 am to 4 pm, with potential for a fourth day depending on applicant volume. Apply today for this excellent opportunity!

Responsibilities

• Document treatment plans from therapy charts according to documentation guidelines.
• Ensure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to evaluate patients' functional abilities.
• Communicate with the Occupational Therapist regarding patients and discuss appropriate diagnoses for referral to therapy, as well as advances in the field.
• Assist the Occupational Therapist with the evaluation of capital equipment, staff, and statistical analyses of the therapy center's performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with an Associate's degree.
• Licensure/registration requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
