Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Description:

• As a home health Occupational Therapist Assistant, your responsibilities will include assessing patients’ conditions, performing home health visits following the plan of care developed by the supervising OTR, documenting patient care services and progress/decline in the electronic system, performing therapeutic procedures through ADL/IADL performance, and reporting patient progress to patients, caregivers, physicians, and the agency office as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older and have successfully completed a FL-approved COTA associate’s degree program from an industry-accredited institution.
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
• Must successfully complete a Level II background check prior to offer and initiation of training.
• Must complete a competency check and all orientation prior to initiating patient care.
• Current FL State COTA license is required.
• Current NBCOT certification is required.
