Mercy Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Youngstown is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for inpatient rehabilitation. You will collaborate with the team to provide patient care, document progress, and support families with home programs. The role requires current COTA licensure and CPR.

Responsibilities include charting in EMR, coordinating patient scheduling and charges, and maintaining equipment and a safe environment in a fast-paced rehab unit.

Qualifikationen

• Current state licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong communication, time management and clinical documentation skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Must be physically able to lift, support and move patients.

How you'll contribute

An Occupational Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. Additional requirements include:

• Previous experience in the care of patients preferred.

• Current BLS/CPR.

• Must demonstrate strong communication, time management, and clinical documentation skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred

• Possess near vision acuity for accurate reading of equipment and recording in patient medical record

• Must be physically able to lift, support and move patients.
