Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time outpatient role in Rockland, ME. You will provide 1:1, 60-minute sessions to adults recovering from neurological injuries, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life.

You will join a collaborative neuro rehab team with a daytime schedule, no evenings, weekends, or holidays, offering clinical autonomy and opportunities for ongoing professional growth and

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application.
• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries.
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ADLs, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures.
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided.
• Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Neuro Rehab Outpatient Clinic | Monday–Friday | No Evenings, Weekends, or Holidays

Join a collaborative neuro rehab team where you\'ll provide 1:1, 60-minute treatment sessions that help adults recovering from neurological injuries regain independence and improve their quality of life.

In This Role, You\'ll:

• Deliver personalized, hands-on therapy under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, ADLs, functional activities, and adaptive equipment training
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve meaningful patient outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers while maintaining accurate documentation
• Utilize innovative technology and equipment in a supportive outpatient setting
