Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join their team!

Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities

1. Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
2. Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.
3. Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.
4. Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
5. Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.
6. Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
7. Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.
8. Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure: Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Experience: Prior experience in a subacute rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
