Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide in-home care, empowering patients to live independently and safely in their homes. You will assess needs, develop plans, and support daily activities with patient families and caregivers.

Requirements include an OTA associate degree, current state certification, a valid driver’s license, CPR, and at least one year of acute care OTA experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited OTA program with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current State Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Current CPR, negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination.
  • One year experience as an OTA in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with patients in their home where they need help the most.
  • Empower patients to live safely and productively at home and complete daily tasks.
  • Help patients and families adapt their environment and use equipment to improve participation.
