Job summary

Family of Kidz in Albany County, NY is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support early intervention services. The role may also be offered as full-time or fee-for-service depending on caseload.

You will design and implement therapeutic interventions for children, administer evaluations, and coordinate with supervisors, families, and school teams. NY OT license required; bilingual is a plus; benefits apply for full-time positions.

Qualifications

• Must hold an accredited OT degree and NY state license.
• Experience with pediatric therapy and IFSP/IEP context preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individual/group pediatric therapies.
• Administer and document OT evaluations.
• Communicate with supervisors and coordinators on case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families and school teams.
• Maintain attendance and billing logs.
• Create schedules with families and school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress.
• Attend CPSE/CSE meetings or reviews.

• Compensation: $110/hour Early intervention

**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
