Job summary

The Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) in Lander, Wyoming seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering resident-centered care in an ICF/SNF setting.

You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans to promote independence in ADLs/IADLs, coordinate with medical providers and families, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Wyoming.
• 0–3 years of progressive work experience in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized evaluations for motor, sensory, and cognitive function related to daily living skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to promote independence in ADLs and IADLs.
• Assess need for adaptive equipment and seating systems, monitor repairs.
• Provide training to direct care staff on therapeutic activities and positioning.
• Coordinate care plans with medical providers, families, and case managers.
• Provide Occupational Therapy evaluations, objectives, progress notes, and program development.
• Attend ISPs, team meetings, and care conferences.
• Work with TE Shop to design and develop needed equipment.
• Evaluate residents for wheelchairs and customized seating systems.
• Monitor fit and function, make adaptations, modifications, and recommendations.
• Provide direct treatment as indicated and consult with Interdisciplinary Team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
