Job summary

The Wyoming Life Resource Center in Lander is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a state-operated campus providing long-term care and rehabilitation services. You will work on a multidisciplinary team to manage a steady caseload and focus on resident progress and equipment needs without insurance billing quotas.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, adaptive equipment assessment, staff training, and collaboration with medical providers and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Wyoming licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist.
• 0–3 years of progressive work experience in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an active member of an interdisciplinary team for a caseload of residents.
• Performs therapeutic evaluations of residents including assistive devices, gait, balance, and motor function.
• Provide assessments, document intervention plans, and track progress.
• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment programs based on evaluation findings.
• Provide activities to improve daily living, vocational, and leisure skills.
• Evaluate needs for adaptive equipment and assist in design/purchase; train on use.
• Monitor equipment for repair, modifications, or replacement.
• Train and monitor staff in therapeutic skills and activities.
• Consult with medical providers, family, case managers, and direct care staff.
• Assist in designing aquatic therapy and safe handling techniques; coordinate orthotics.
