Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
• Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred, but not required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of patients.
• Assesses patients' needs and initiates appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
• Observes and evaluates treatment effects and goals.
• Performs accurate and timely quality improvement scoring.
• Assesses patient pain interfering with rehabilitation.
• Reports patient progress and barriers to discharge.
• Performs all aspects of patient care optimizing safety.
